Eczema Shower Help

I suffer from eczema. I am always on the look out for the latest solution in treating this irritating ailment. One day, on a whim, I purchased a book entitled The Truth About Beauty by Kat James, a holistic beauty and health expert. She gave a lot of helpful information about different natural remedies to help with all types of ailments that may prevent women from being and looking their best. One thing she mentioned that caught my interest right away, was that of using shower filters to reduce the amount of chlorine we take into our bodies. Did you know that 90% of our chlorine intake comes from showers?

After I purchased my 1st shower filter from Amazon, I noticed a difference in how my skin felt. (The first filter I purchased was from Amazon, but for some reason, they stopped carrying it. I got my second filter from Home Depot for $19.) The overall itchiness I felt, subsided. My eczema and asthma calmed down. I still have flare ups from time to time, but the filter has helped. I will always keep one on my shower. I purchased a bath ball as well. My next purchase will probably be an under the sink filter to help keep my face from drying out. Kat James' website gives more information about other holistic beauty tips.
