A Black Disney Princess?

Somehow, I surfed across this post from the wonderful Cocolounge blog. Disney is finally planning a feature cartoon starring a black female lead. The "Frog Princess" movie is slated to be set in New Orleans. I am happy to see that African-American girls will at last have a character they can relate to, but a little apprehensive about how it will be done.

We'll just have to see...
